@LemorasCards I really enjoy casual games with friends and people whose decks I know and whose understanding of the game matches mine... Casual against random people is THE WORST!!!!!! I don't understand how people are willingly going into LGSs to play against folks who happen to be there

@1ionyx I so wanna see Recurring Nightmare and Prime Time come off, tho especially the latter will do no good in the hands of most casual players! And if people don't show the intention to building decks with a certain degree of rationale and self reflection, it won't come off!

So if we are discussing potential unbans for Commander, I would like to make a request…

@JMarGameDesign @Deco_pdc @NarukamiKnight Fair.... I just think it's wild that Raza is not even a GC and Griseldaddy is banned... And while I agree on the "one card will not decide" for the most part, I've seen quite a number of games where a Raza was hard cast by a Thras Big Mana deck and the pod was like: dafuqqq???

@ClassicSidepart @Deco_pdc @NarukamiKnight Sure, I see the razaketh angle if you're playing rograhk or something else cheap in the command zone, but griselbrand IMO is more generically playable and needs less support to be good - plus id imagine there's fewer EXACTLY 1 CARD win-the-games you can tutor given the board

@JMarGameDesign @Deco_pdc @NarukamiKnight Ohhhhh... Sure! It's just that saccing a creature and - say - your commander to find EXACTLY what you need vs. "Let's spin and see what we hit" is magnitudes more efficient IMHO... But yeah... Griseldaddy IS a strong af card!

@ClassicSidepart @Deco_pdc @NarukamiKnight I think it's more the speed you can actually get it out by + the flexibility Griselbrand can also just pay more life in response to other actions to find more interaction vs razaketh requiring multiple creatures on board to get multiple tutors

@Syreno1305 People in the country EU are the dumbest at playing MTG... It's such a small country... How can there be intelligent people playing this highly skill intensive game?? And their card prices suck! They pay way less than the people in the US! So their card stock must be inferior!

@LemorasCards @jordanwhatley76 Ohhhh, sure sure.... It's just that "back in the days" there were brews of a Temur Storm build (Grixis adjacent) with Song in it... But obv Temur lacks the ability to effectively tutor for it .... But Docko also made the stuff a lot easier obv

@ClassicSidepart @jordanwhatley76 Song isn't really that great at helping speed up in general it's kinda at its best in later turns of a midrange list to me.

I'm supposed to be playing a different deck next week at Frenzy but whenever I test rog thras post avatar it can suddenly just win turn 2 now 💀

Playing Rowan is so much fun. The table being hopeless because you have a stupid card like Snort available if the win is stopped is peak 🙏
