Thank you for this! As a kid not growing up in NYC, I still was glued to my TV on Sat. mornings. Lenny made a lifelong impression on me. I was lucky enough to work with him later as a young musician.

Also, and this is ⚠️super important⚠️: look at the Young People's Concerts. One is built around Project 19 and celebrates music composed by women. Another is called "Music as a Change Agent" and highlights "composers whose music impacted major social issues of the day."
