I just realized the reason the beat for Busta Rhymes’ “Turn It Up/Fire It Up (remix)” is so incredibly 🔥 is because the drums are swung AF and the “Knightrider” sample is straight. Gonna try to rip off that approach tomorrow.

@VitoAeroplane similar feeling I got when @NI_News came out w .NKS and I first used Komplete Kontrol w their controller keyboard and could preview any sound based on category/inst/style, etc., regardless of the manufacturer, and then it just perfectly maps all params of whatever sound u land on

@Classixx I use Cubase, so this might not apply to anyone but I keep finding ways to speed up my process and productivity. They way Cubase sorts out “Collections” of plugins has been extremely inspiring in allowing me to use tools I didn’t even know I had.

You ever find a feature in your DAW that is so good you actually feel dizzy ?
