@MenryWY I’m sorry this happened to you. You probably don’t have energy to confront this person, but using a colleague’s intellectual and emotional labour shouldn’t go unnoticed. Sharing resources is wonderful and we should keep it as a practice but it needs to be reciprocal

Guess it was inevitable , but came across a course taught by an instructor at another university that appears to have basically duplicated my course - title, assignments, etc. I share material so others can get ideas but jarring to see almost complete replication.

Dear university presses (especially Canadian ones): at #CongreSSH I had to correct many of you on what North America is: Mexico, US and Canada. If you ship for free in North America this should include Mexico. If you don’t, then you’re referring to ANGLO North America.

Belated celebrations today- 10 days ago I turned 50 & last week I got good news from the surgeon. The invasive part of the lung tumour was very small, lymph nodes and margins are negative, regular checks but no further treatment at this time. Very grateful & relieved #fuckcancer
