It's been around a month since @SierraClub said the union was spreading false information about potential layoffs - and, you guessed it, since then they have laid off and locked out dozens of our members (in direct violation of our contract) as well as unrepresented staff.

Why is Long Beach trying to expand oil drilling over the next 5 years? We are asking for the city to immediately ban new oil drilling within 3200 feet and create a plan to phase out oil drilling instead. @RexRichardson @LongBeachCity @LongBeachPost
