This Earth Day, we’re celebrating healthier spaces for children in NC! For 3 years, Clean Classrooms for Carolina Kids has worked to find and eliminate lead and asbestos hazards where kids learn and play. Thanks to the team and partners who are making safer spaces possible!

As #NPHW winds down, we still have two more tips to share. Our first tip from @RTI_Intl Research Environmental Scientist Nikki DeLuca highlights PFAS in household dust. These “forever chemicals” can settle in dust and may be an exposure pathway for young children.
