This strange artifact melted out of the ice in the Lendbreen pass. We scratched our heads to try to figure out what it had been used for but we couldn't come up with a good answer. The object was exhibited at the local museum. A visiting elderly woman solved the mystery for us.

We’re back to grey skies but the work continues. The Ship is now between Horseshoe Island and Pourquoi Pas Island gathering scientific data.

Today we welcomed Jim Morton @RoyalNavy veteran who is walking 7500 miles of the #UKCoast to raise money for @gwtorg. Jim is over half way and is spending the next few days in #Kent. Jim was stationed at Chatham from 1978 -1981. Good luck for the remainder of your walk Jim!
