I'm beyond excited to share that our film #TheWomenKingMakers: Unseen Faces, Unheard Voices is Premiering in South Africa this week at the #afwid2025 @AfWIDafrica conference that gathers 1000 women from across the African continent and is hosted by Her Excellency Zanele Mbeki. The Docu-Film by @Badili_A sheds light on the often unnoticed and undocumented violence against women political mobilizers, while highlighting their pivotal role as the backbone in political campaigns and voter mobilization processes. We can't wait for viewers and participants in South Africa to experience what we've created and also hear their feedback on the plans we have underway on young women and grassroots women's political participation. So grateful for the unwavering support from mentors, partners, Badili Africa team, friends and family who have brought this to fruition.
