This is something we mustn’t take our eye off. Holding public office is a grave responsibility and too often that position has been abused. It’s easy to see why when we see unacceptable behaviour at all levels of leadership. Time to make a change.

Yesterday, Rob Smith, Chief Executive, took part in CSPL's @PublicStandards roundtable, with local government experts, practitioners and academics informing CSPL’s submission to the government consultation on the standards and conduct framework for local authorities in England.

@NALC @SLCCnews When such a large proportion of clerks are women why are we still so significantly underrepresented? We shouldn't have to keep fighting to have our voices heard. We are not second-rate.
