Merry Clickmas to you and yours

After watching the same movie every week for 6 years, seeing promo shots from scrapped scenes or even just alternate takes from the same scenes feels like peering into the Click (2006) multiverse.

Hey @hwinkler4real, big fan! The newly released 4K release of Click (2006) has a picture of you in a pilot uniform, but no such scene exists in the film or in the deleted scenes. Is there any chance you have any insight on this?

@ClickThinks @hwinkler4real Hey guys answer here!: They had an alternate ending filmed and in the Final Cut at one point. This alternate ending had a heaven scene where Winkler and his wife (Sandler’s parents in the movie) have a funny sex fantasy where he is a pilot and she is a flight attendant.

This has always been one of my biggest gripes, it's a shame the scene couldn't be worked in. In the very early draft script that we have, Michael is doing this with his dad in heaven at the end of the film.

The right side of this image shows another component of the script that personally I think should've stayed - they're ACTUALLY building the treehouse that they alluded to twice throughout the film!

Like every other home video release, the 4K has some promo images from the movie on the back. I've seen the movie every week for 6 years - what the fuck is this image of Henry Winkler as a pilot?? This does not happen in the movie!!! Where did this picture come from?????

I think I'll opt out of the conversation around the subject matter of the article.

A while ago, we noticed this detail in the newspaper that Janine reads during the breakfast scene in Click. Ended up finding the article archived in the New York Post. More interestingly, the article itself does make a reference to Adam Sandler himself, completing the circle.

I should have been part of the marketing and merchandise department for Click.

@vigama123 @sweetsangria0 The Strokes actually have a song in Click (2006) too! Someday by The Strokes plays when Michael is riding a bike to work in his bathrobe after accidentally skipping a year.
