Trevor taught me on a module I took on my PhD. An incredibly knowledgeable, insightful & friendly man. He expressed interest in my novel; it's a shame I didn't get around to sharing it with him. A great loss to the fields of modern & historical slavery and, frankly, the world.

I hope Serena Wiegman goes down in history as a football icon regardless of Sunday's result, both for winning consecutive Euros & for being the first coach in either the women's or men's game to take two different nations to World Cup finals (consecutive finals, too). Inspiring.
