What are the CO2 emissions when you compare the US and China? China has the most emissions because of more people. They have been increasing the number of coal plants while we have been decreasing ours. They use roughly 8 times more coal than we do and have 800+ more coal plants.

Have past climate change actions been effective in helping our climate from past government and administrations? Regardless, we must also keep in mind that much of these climate change policies originate from California due to their EPA laws that they institute.

Does using a lot of farmland to grow cattle feed affect climate change? It is responsible for a good amount of GHGs. However, this should change a bit when we transition to more free range cattle. Also, it is hard to just stop producing corn & soybeans, what would take its place?

Water reductions in the future will require us to use water more efficiently. This can mean implementing a wireless soil moisture meter that sends soil moisture readings in real time through the internet and letting you know its time to irrigate at 50 % water depletion level.

What to do with producer water which comes from the gas and oil industry. It has the danger of contaminating groundwater if left underground, so the EPA has been talking about bringing the waters up, perhaps treating them and using them for something else.

The reasons the grid gets so congested has to do with our daily activities. We cook and bathe in the morning and evening hours & with us switching from gas to electric appliances, this goes up. Most people also charge their electric cars in the evening after they get off of work.

What has happened to these direct carbon air capture machines they used build in the past? These were built by billionares such as Bill Gates, and they would use the carbon to make jet fuel. They seem like a good idea to help with carbon sequestration & carbon neutral fuels.

There are many ways to utilize captured carbon dioxide and make worthwhile products out of them from algae. Take for instance cement making. Algae called Coccolithophores intake carbon dioxide and form a calcium carbonate shell around them which could be used to make cement.

How do pesticides affect climate change? You would think that if they're meant to keep the plant healthy and capture carbon they help climate change. This is not the case. They make them unhealthy and also cause pollution where different modes of action cause bad climate change.

How can we do carbon sequestration to help decarbonize the world? One way is to capture that carbon into tanks and use for algae growing. It has been estimated the day we do this on a wide scale the more the algae industry will take off. Algae provides us with so many products.

Plants become ineffective carbon sinks when they are unhealthy. Pesticides adversely affect plants and disrupt the carbon and nitrogen cycles with the microbes in the soil. They especially affect mycorrhizal fungi which is a major carbon sink beneath the soil.

What are we doing to decrease GHG emissions from vehicles? Using biofuels doesn't involve carbon from underground. It is carbon neutral and recycles carbon from the air. In addition, some vehicles can capture the carbon dioxide before exhaust. Known as mobile carbon capture.

What kinds of fuels are preferrable with nuclear fusion? Tritium would be the most ideal but there is only about 50 lbs of it on Earth! So, our next logical choice is deuterium, which is plentiful. Our challenge is just finding what other fuel can react with it.

For forestry management, keeping certain ground cover would help the soil retain its moisture and maintain proper soil water holding capacity. Much of this can be done by keeping the litter, leaves, pine needles, etc. on the ground.

Are there successful models of Anaerobic Digestion in industry? We happened to find a case where an onion processing facility used the leftover onion waste and extracted the juice from it to run an Anaerobic Digester that provided electricity to them but also for the grid.

What if we were able to reuse / recycle carbon dioxide from industry. We could pipeline it to places, give it to greenhouses, compress it into tanks and transport it to places. We need to get the polluters of CO2 to match up with industries that actually need it.

We've talked about how cattle do not really affect climate change. However, have you ever thought about how much energy, fossil fuel & resources it takes for all the fast food joints to make a cheeseburger? It's not all about the meat but rather other ingredients & places too.

Beef prices are appearing to rise a lot lately. Is that a good thing for climate change? Many forget that other countries depend upon cattle for their livelihood, food and way of life. Even if we had no cattle there is 10 times the amount we have across the world.

What services do farming cooperative places provide? After some research it was found that many are remotely located stores that provide farmers with the supplies they need. In addition, you may have consultants working with other cooperatives to help farmers with biofertilizers.

There are several ways to practice regenerative farming to help climate change. One is to generally not use tillage unless you have compacted ground areas that need broken up. Do plant rotations, not as much monocrops and plants that attract beneficial insects to eat the pests.
