Everything I’ve read makes this seem very straightforward, both sides are acting as you expect. Clippers shouldn’t jeopardise their cap plans and James should want guaranteed money for being this good at this age. I’ve loved having Harden as a Clipper!

@slicorey Most guys slow down as they age and play with their mind, Russ seems to have gone the other way. When it clicks, he looks unbelievable but when it doesn’t, he isn’t a playable player anymore

@slicorey Athleticism declining is obviously huge but when I watch him, I can’t shake the idea that he rushes things now because he is so aware that isn’t as athletic anymore so is trying to make up for it by going super fast. I think that’s mostly to blame for the embarrassing viral plays
