A little over one month until the Rope Rescue Training Team return to #Bosnia and #Herzegovina (#BiH) 🇧🇦 on behalf of @UKDefenceinBiH to close Year 2 of a three year training programme with the aim of self sustainability. This training project sits under the Military Aid to Civil Authorities (MACA) and is delivering life saving technical rescue training in both rope and water rescue skills. All training is aligned to that of the #UK 🇬🇧 rescue services and will allow #Interoperability in the event of international joint operations and is accredited by @CliveBushMInSTR and his company Prusik Rescue. As we get closer to waving goodbye to 2024, it’s time to reflect on the previous 12 months which has seen both ups and downs. It’s easy to forget the good, and to focus on the bad, but below are a few images of the amazing opportunities and experiences I’ve had in 2024. 👉 I’ve followed through with my commitment to @UKDefenceinBiH and delivered specialist rope and water rescue courses to the same standard as that of the #UK. 👉 Travelled to some amazing countries including #Bosnia 🇧🇦, #Portugal 🇵🇹, #Spain 🇪🇸, #Malta 🇲🇹 👉 Received my 20 year Fire Service Long Service Good Conduct Medal 🥈and the Kings Coronation Medal 👉 Got a promotion and joined a new Fire and Rescue Service 👉 Supported the British Government/BritishEmbassy in responding to a natural disaster (@JulianReillyUK) 👉 Built another connection with a different British Embassy 👉 Worked with some of the best people I’ve had the honour of working with! @TaiChee600 @CliveBushMInSTR @stevie_marsh @ATalakic, Marc, Paul, Ross & Jamie Here’s to welcoming 2025.
