While back home I also attended the Shiney Row Labour Ward Meeting to update The Labour Party members of ward issues I am working on across our area and the recent AGM of Friends of Herrington Country Park which I was privileged to chair last week.

Following a few days leave, yesterday I attended St Michael and All Angels Houghton Le Spring for the funeral of my cousin Emily Forester, Emily will be missed by many as she has touched so many peoples lives with her work within the local community. ❤️

The Shiney Marras meet weekly in ShARP, this week they celebrated the Jubilee with a tea party and reminiscence session, talking about the Coronation and Jubilees in the past, they all went home with extra cake for supper. If you want to join them just ask at the ShARP Reception
