What a crazy week. For a while now, I've been telling myself that I needed to change a few things. And honestly, I never imagined that change would happen like this. For the longest time, NFTs were all about numbers to me. Buy, sell, make a profit. I never had the luxury of being a collector. But at the same time, the more degen plays I made—the ones that felt like shortcuts—the further away I was getting from where I actually wanted to be. So I decided to change. To learn. To build conviction. To invest in people, founders, and projects that I genuinely believed in. And looking back, I can't say that I lost. Quite the opposite. All I feel is gratitude for every person who crossed my path along this journey. I've had incredible wins, experienced things I never thought possible, and met people I'll always care about, even if we don't talk every day. Over the years, only a handful of founders ever took the time to talk to me. @metavermanche was one of the first. Maybe because we have a mutual friend. But somehow, our conversations always found their way back over time. For a long while, being part of what he was building was beyond what I could afford. So I kept putting it off, waiting for the right moment. And when that moment finally came, I realized the wait had been worth it. Today, I'm incredibly proud to call myself a Xanderian. It's a small group, but a strong one. A community built with intention. You can tell every member is carefully chosen. And the art, which was already amazing, was recently refined into something truly exceptional. Another founder who has always been present is @RealPapii. The first time we spoke, owning a Quirkies wasn't even remotely possible for me. I don't think selling everything I owned would have been enough. Yet today, not only do I own a Quirkie, but I also managed to get an OG, something I never imagined would happen. And it's about so much more than an NFT. I deeply admire what Papi and the team are building. A strong IP with its own identity, incredible art, merchandise, animations, and projects that extend far beyond Web3. Honestly, I could spend hours talking about everything these guys are creating. But this post is already long enough. So I'll leave it with one simple word: Thank you. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. I'm incredibly happy to be a part of @quirkiesnft and @Xanderia_realm. To many, they're just NFTs. To me, they represent the beginning of a new chapter in Web3.

the problem in web3 is that people have amazing ideas and they work initially, which builds up the castle in the sky but most of us have no idea how to make a 10 or 20 year revenue plan, because hype pushes things here it's not your fault that you believed in the projects while giving them money, but i've seen it so many times in this space that even good founders and teams fail, sometimes it's bad luck or the market, but most times it is that the founder/ team are unable to see things going south before it's too late we need counter thinkers in every team, the 10th man, who takes a doomsday view, just to keep the team on track lessons learnt but you should know that no good deed goes unrewarded and i wish the plague insane success some time in the future. you and your community are legends and it's an honor to be rubbing shoulders with you

Since founding the Plague in 2022, we have collaborated with and supported dozens of other NFT projects. In many different ways. ------------ Personally, I have: - Given hundreds of hours of my personal time advising others (for free) - Boosted their projects and helped them gained them visibility. - Lost 6 figures of personal money supporting others' projects ---------------- The Frogs have been some of the most charitable people in Web3. As a group we have: - Donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to others - Paid medical bills - Paid college bills -etc. ---------------- That being said... The amount of times the Plague (and I) have been screwed over is really astounding. Between two entities we did business with, we are close to $170k in services or products never delivered. Sometimes we got screwed because those we supported had no intention to live up to their end of the bargain. Most of the time it is just because they failed, had bad luck, or were not as competent as they pretended to be. Regardless.. it has been very frustrating.
