@SwitchRL @Slangespraak Violence may exist, but treating it as a political tool is dangerous. Once normalised, it doesn’t stop at one ideology it silences dissent, invites crackdowns, and erodes the very free expression needed to oppose injustice.
English

@Cloud__RL @Slangespraak As with any point in human history, there's only so long where being peaceful & resolving conflicts with logic is viable before you have to fight back or protect yourself.
English

I think every disgusting, fascist, racist cunt who values fame, money & profit over the lives of every other person in the world deserves whatever violence comes their way
Evil fucking scum who make every living day a struggle for millions of people & you want sympathy? Fuck off

MorkyMork@morky_mork1
I didn't like Charlie Kirk, I think he was a fucking vile, disgusting POS But the glee some fellow lefties are taking in his life looking like it has been taken in gun violence is fucking revoluting
English

@SwitchRL @Slangespraak I understand the anger at hateful ideologies racism and extremism should absolutely be condemned. But if we start justifying or celebrating violence against those we oppose, we risk normalising violence as a political tool. That’s dangerous for everyone.
English

@Cloud__RL @Slangespraak Again, the main problem on here is people are acting like being a racist, white supremist, neo-Nazi genocide supporter is a casual difference in political opinion.
That is an awful human, not someone with different political ideas.
English

@Slangespraak @SwitchRL I disagreed with Charlie Kirk often, but celebrating his death is troubling. When violence becomes a political tool, nobody is safe not even those who opposed him. Disagreement should never mean dehumanization.

Think this clip shows quite well why RL isn't as fun to watch for me anymore
Crazy shit is so common now that the commentators barely react to anything with excitement

I think @yanxnz might have just scored the goal of the tournament..

@HereLiesJeff I agree on both of the top statements. If a team doesnt reply or talk to shift immedatiely what action does shift take then? do they still release information. If the latter is true isnt it more of a need to work with shift than a want
English

@Cloud__RL As I say, it's on the teams to capture attention.
Orgs categorically do not put enough time/effort into doing so or almost any effort into announcements.
Shift do work with teams too it should be noted. They speak to one another
English

@Cloud__RL I totally and wholeheartedly disagree.
If teams want to say 'aah Achilles already leaked it' as some lame excuse for just doing a rubbish graphic, then that's on them.
Leaks generate interest and as stated, they are inevitable. If it wasn't Shift it would be someone else
English

@frenchfryfrodo @HereLiesJeff I dont see how you think im missing his point when In both of my previous tweets I say "LEAKS ARE INEVITABLE". My overall theme is are leaks good or bad overall? specfically for an organisation.
English

@Cloud__RL @HereLiesJeff I feel like you're missing his point that if it's not Shift, it will be someone else. Leaks are always going to happen, and having an actually professional source for the leaks is a net good. Plus they hold off if the org asks, like how the original team Liquid pickup was unknown
English

@HereLiesJeff Leaks are inevitable, but I don’t see them as a positive overall. In most industries, especially media, they tend to have negative effects, likely detracting from the attention and interest your team’s content would otherwise generate.

@SwitchRL Depends what you value the pro scene is a lot bigger now and way more competitive in general. Worlds happens less often making showing up in 3 finals even more impressive for me. Turbo did go to a different region and win tho so... all depends on what you value more

Ah yes the Olympics,

A famously straight society of course.
