Okay look, for what He serves in the plot of THH, I really like him for what He does. And I can respect the decision they went with for both him and Sayaka. With that said, GOD there was missed potential with this guy that I think should've been capitalized on. 😭

#MyLittlePony Maturing as a MLP fan is recognizing how ass this finale is in hindsight. 😭 like okay, the second half of it isn't bad but the first half of this finale is so bad, the character writing is terrible especially for certain Mane 5 members.

At the same time too though, people will either look at an episode and give that a pass or try to apply that same problem too acting like it's not a case by case. References are not an objective criticism, they are subjective and are judged on by perspective entirely.

And then there's also a ton of times where Death Battle references certain lines and dialogue, but recontextualizes them in some way shape or form (Iron Man vs Lex & Rick vs Doctor). I know another part of reference dialogue/referenced animation is if it feels natural but...
