An artist can take X amount of commissions at a time.
They should charge the highest amount that they believe will get them X amount of requests.
It is not complicated at all.

Email says $4,000 - 20%
To get $4,000 after -20% would mean $5,000 sponsor.
Assuming 20% fee then $4,400 - fees would be $3,520.
So none of it seems to math out with what we have.
