In Noida’s Mahagun Moderne, an illegally functioning AoA runs the society with no valid elections for years, zero transparency over crores of maintenance funds, encroachment/misuse of common areas and routine harassment of dissenting residents – all in open defiance of basic housing and local governance norms. DGCA is to IndiGo what Noida Authority should have been to Mahagun Moderne’s rogue AoA – a regulator enforcing law, not a silent spectator. Instead, Noida Authority’s inaction despite repeated complaints and media coverage signals that high‑rise residents can be abandoned to illegal private fiefdoms while the file keeps moving slowly, if at all.
