@deejuusan I feel like this whole thing was blown out of proportion, but I think Toby fox should bend the knee and just hire translators since it’s not feasible for him to learn every language and oversee each translation to his standards

I hate to be that person who talks about the loss of reading comprehension, but seriously, people need to understand that when a story is reliant on words and wordplay and double meanings, it’s harder to translate and the author has to be involved in the process. For some people to read “I couldnt *officially* get it out in other languages because I need to be sure it matches my intended vision and I dont understand other languages” as him saying “other languages cant deliver my vision” or “translators arent good” is baffling. Personal experience ⬇️
