@UpdateNews724 Not sure about that because it will create a vacuum. More like revisit it's structure, clean house and adjust financial contributions.

@vahalladude @UpdateNews724 The only country to invoke the NATO mutual defence clause? That would be the US after 9/11, Europeans sent their soldiers to fight and die for the US defence

Yes, that’s the only way to re-establish balance in the world, and wake Europe up. The US will be fine without NATO, which original purpose was to contain the soviets. That mission was accomplished 30 years ago. We don’t need to keep dangerous weapons in the idle hand of our politicians when we elect questionable people like Obama or Biden, and let’s not forget we almost got Kamala.

🇸🇰 BREAKING: Slovakia PM Robert Fico has released a statement announcing Slovakia will NOT support Ukraine financially or militarily to enable it to continue the War. He also demands an immediate ceasefire and says Ukraine will never be able to win the War. This is HUGE! 🔥🔥

@swaggertime77 @LindseyGrahamSC The US health system is a problem because you let companies charge more for drugs in the US than anywhere else and allow everyone to extreme profit and every level of your health care system, that’s not due to Europeans

So we’ve basically been subsidizing free healthcare and 3-month summer vacations for Europeans while Americans work themselves into an early grave. On top of that, they open up their borders to hordes of migrants, which then get free benefits (which Americans are also subsidizing).

To the hand-wringing Europeans who felt offended by President Trump rejecting being lectured by President Zelensky: Be my guest to defend Ukraine from Putin. It is long past time for the Europeans to show they are capable of defending their own continent.   They’ve allowed their militaries to be hollowed out and when Europe speaks, no bad guy listens.   I say this with great sadness: The last group of people that I would count on to defend freedom are the Europeans.

@AmyIndy20 @FrankX1048466 @LindseyGrahamSC You clearly don’t understand that only one country has ever called for NATO members to fight for them… the US, or that the US contributes 16% to NATO budgets, same as Germany….

@FrankX1048466 @LindseyGrahamSC I could cry I want this so much we need to get out of NATO there is no reason for it. It's just a money scam. If we go to war and they are our allies they will help if not we'll fight like hell

@LindseyGrahamSC Would that be all those European countries that sent their soldiers to fight and die when the the US invoked the NATO call for support after 9/11?

Come on Michael that's a one sided situation report . Being thankful is the same as saying that he should recognise that Ukraine is in a precarious position , but Zelenskyy brought this on himself because he implied Russia was dangerous for the US too despite water being between them, it was not a very productive tactic to open the start criticising both parties in an open press conference type situation. This discussion should have been done in private. If he was there, it was because the outlines were pretty much pre-discussed and set, one would suppose ? it's not easy to accept losing territory and having to compromise and even trust anyone after three years of war and all that destruction but he was there and he knew those preconditions, but decided to derail everything because he's still in war mode and diplomacy is a different animal then hard negotiations. Trump is a simple business type sawyer and deal maker but this is more complex so hard for him obviously too risking a too quick resolution without well thought out strategy behind it Trump thinks in diplomatic terms that if you want to bring a foe to the negotiating table, you have to give him some respect, and saving Face. That's the basic premise of any truce . That's very very hard for Zelensky after fighting so hard - of course it is , and these discussions should have been done between teams and private not as a public discourse where he feels threatened. The big question is whether everybody agrees there should be a truce and some concessions against economic repatriation and security guarantees for Ukraine by the US and Europe as a consequence , or whether this whole plan is unacceptable for both Ukraine and Europe.?

Zelensky has thanked Trump, Congress, and the American people many times. But let's be clear: when Trump and Vance said that THEY are trying to help Ukraine right now, and need to be thanked for the work personally, there are reasons to wonder. 1/ THREAD

UKRAINE: Sec Rubio just got rug pulled. Zelensky assured him the mineral deal was locked in, and Rubio confidently told the president it was a done deal, with Zelensky visiting the White House to sign. Instead, Zelensky shifted the goalposts—demanding US ground troops, knowing Trump wouldn’t agree. Zelensky isn’t an honest broker.

A group of DC-based journalists, the White House Correspondents' Association, has long dictated which journalists get to ask questions of the President of the United States. Not anymore. Today, I was proud to announce that we are giving the power back to the people. Moving forward, the ‘White House Press Pool,’ will be determined by the White House Press Team. Legacy outlets who have participated in the press pool for decades will still be allowed to join – but we will also be offering the privilege to well-deserving outlets who have never been allowed to share in this awesome responsibility.

@RelampagoZ3 @Tatarigami_UA Russia had a none aggression pact with the Nazi’s which they were absolutely fine with until Hitler invaded them. The US then provided the Russians with weapons and food which Britain shipped for you to the Russians loosing hundreds of ships and thousands of lives…

@Tatarigami_UA Actually, doesn’t feel bad. The EU has thrown itself into the toilet. I’m not against leaving NATO because of this fact. Our “shared” values are not shared anymore. Americans are more likely to be arrested for their social media posts when landing in the UK than we are in Russia.

So much of American diplomacy has become pure performance--an obsession with *saying* this or that. The reason the failed establishment hates President Donald J. Trump is because he chooses his words carefully and, more importantly, is much more focused on *doing*.
