@BryanRolli BTS was such a pain point when I edited Grammy.com. Any post about them did epic numbers and reflected where music's going, etc. But the RA board.. they really pushed back on our writing about BTS. For reasons I never fully understood, but seem obvious in retrospect

🔴🤡 So apparently, HYBE’s stock fell DESPITE the company reporting record-breaking revenue for the industry because investors dislike how much of that revenue goes to HYBE’s artists—especially BTS🤌🏽🤡🙃 According to them: “The performance business has a relatively high cost ratio due to the HIGH proportion of artist royalties, so the expansion of the concert sales share has led to decreased profitability.” Basically, BTS and other HYBE artists are receiving a large share of the money generated by their own performances, and investors are upset because that leaves less profit for them.🙃

BTW, HYBE supporting BTS’s decision and allowing them to announce it just one day after the stock fell—because investors were already angry that “artists are receiving such a large share of the royalties”—knowing full well that the announcement could make investors even angrier and push the stock down further, only proves that HYBE is one of the few companies in music with any dignity left.

The end date varies for VIP and Production releases. The exact time of release will vary.
This will not be publicly announced the same way as from Live Nation K-Pop (soft release)
