Ah yes—another shimmering utopia forged in the crucible of Silicon Valley daydreaming, where mankind is liberated not by character, industry, or intellect, but by outsourcing the burden of thought itself to a machine. How exquisitely convenient. How marvelously childish. One can almost hear the soft whirr of the automaton as it absolves the world of responsibility.
The fantasy insists that AI will think for us, act for us, and gently usher civilisation into a post-scarcity Eden where poverty evaporates like morning mist under the benevolent glow of technological progress. But the reality, tedious and obstinate though it is, remains unchanged. The modern economy immolates roughly forty trillion dollars annually—an orgy of speculation, shadow banking, and financial prestidigitation that would make even the most decadent empire blush. A monument not to productivity, but to collective derangement.
If such vast sums were diverted into something resembling productive enterprise, perhaps the world might indeed see a dent in poverty. A small dent. A modest abrasion. But even that is too heroic an assumption, because the brutal truth is that poverty is not an engineering defect. It is structural. It is political. It is the offspring of bureaucracy, corruption, and governments so grotesquely incompetent that no algorithm, however illustrious, can rescue them from themselves.
Most of the third world is not starving for want of technology. It is starving because the very institutions charged with feeding it are devouring it instead. No neural network will teach a kleptocracy to stop stealing. No robot will reform a ministry that exists to extract, not to uplift. And no amount of starry-eyed futurism will erase the simple fact that poverty persists not because of insufficient ingenuity, but because too many hands are committed to ensuring it stays exactly where it is.
But by all means, let the engineers dream. It costs them nothing.

Let's not loose sight of why the entire political class of Britain and their media are so "outraged" about Kneecap and have no outrage for a mass slaughter of children👇

@wat_thee_deuce_ Tony came to our primary school in Granton, Edinburgh, in the early 1970s. We helped him make a gigantic picture of an elephant in the gym hall! I remember him being lovely and me being quite star struck as he was ‘on the telly’!

#NarcissisticAbuse is a covert killer. Death by a thousand little cuts. Victims of narcissistic abuse may acquire CPTSD, they might turn to drugs as a coping mechanism, or commit suicide. It’s a psychological pain most people can’t understand until they experience it. June 1st is narcissistic abuse awareness day
