MLB HITTER OF THE DAY
Jonathan Aranda OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
The recent box scores don’t tell the full story. Tampa Bay just faced three left-handed starters and Sonny Gray—a brutal stretch for a hitter who thrives against righties.
Now the matchup flips to Kevin Gausman, and Aranda has absolutely owned him. He’s cleared this line in 3 straight meetings before Gausman even left the game. This season, he’s hitting .600 against him with 1 HR and 4 RBIs.
Against right-handed pitching this year:
✅ .306 AVG
✅ .918 OPS
Even better, Tampa Bay is on the road, giving Aranda a strong chance at 5+ plate appearances. In games with 5+ PAs this season, he’s gone OVER in 30 of 38.
The matchup, splits, and projected volume all point in the same direction.

🚨 MLB PROP OF THE DAY 🚨
Chase Burns OVER 6.5 Strikeouts 💥
My favorite prop on the board.
• Burns has developed into one of baseball’s premier strikeout arms, posting 118 Ks in 102.2 innings (10.3 K/9) with a 30%+ strikeout rate this season.
• His electric fastball/slider combination consistently generates whiffs, and he’s already shown the upside to clear this number with ease, recording 7+ strikeouts in multiple starts this year.
• Even after the All-Star break, Cincinnati continues to lean on Burns to work deep into games, giving him plenty of opportunities to rack up punchouts.
• With elite swing-and-miss stuff and Cy Young-caliber form, 7 strikeouts is a number I’m willing to back whenever the matchup is reasonable.

🚨 MLB PLAY OF THE DAY 🚨
Phillies MoneyLine ( -120 Novig )
This is a great price point on Philadelphia.
• Zack Wheeler gets the ball and has been one of the most dominant starters in baseball this season: 10-1, 2.13 ERA, with a 30%+ strikeout rate.
• The Phillies are back at Citizens Bank Park where Wheeler has consistently given them a chance to win, and they’re facing a Dodgers lineup that has to deal with one of the toughest right-handers in the league.
• Philadelphia still owns one of the deepest lineups in the NL with Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Trea Turner and Alec Bohm capable of breaking a game open at any moment. Their offense is built to capitalize once they get into the bullpen.
• Justin Wrobleski has been impressive this season, but this is by far one of his toughest road assignments against a veteran lineup in a playoff-like environment.
When I can back an ace like Wheeler at home with the that overall lineup behind him I’m willing to lay the price.
Best Bet: Phillies ML ⭐️

The Best Strikeout Bet
Kyle Leahy OVER 4.5 Strikeouts
Leahy isn’t a strikeout-first pitcher, but this matchup checks every box.
The Angels have been one of the most strikeout-prone lineups against right-handed pitching all season, owning the 2nd-highest K% in MLB. Seven of the projected hitters carry strikeout rates above 21% against righties, creating one of the best environments for opposing starters to rack up punchouts.
He’s heavily favored to clear 14.5 pitching outs, and if he works into the 5th inning as expected, the volume should be there for 5+ strikeouts.
The recent results against this Angels lineup speak for themselves:
• Troy Melton – 9 Ks
• Taj Bradley – 6 Ks
• Joe Ryan – 6 Ks
• Nathan Eovaldi – 10 Ks
• Jacob deGrom – 7 Ks
• Sonny Gray – 7 Ks
• Bryce Miller – 8 Ks
• George Kirby – 7 Ks
Leahy has already flashed this upside multiple times this season with starts of 6 and 7 strikeouts, proving he can capitalize when the matchup is right.
Backing Leahy for 5+ Ks. 💨

⚾️MLB Best Bet #1
Braxton Ashcraft Over 17.5 Outs
Not overthinking this one. Ashcraft has been a horse for the Pirates all year — against bottom-half offenses vs. RHP, he’s cleared this line in 8 of his last 10 starts. Home/road splits are basically identical, and he’s grading above average across nearly every advanced metric this season. Cupcake matchup + Ashcraft = auto-back.
Tonight’s cupcake: the Yankees. Vs. RHP over the last 20 games, they rank bottom 10 in BB%, Chase%, wRC+, and AVG. They just watched Yamamoto throw 9 innings at them, then managed only 2 runs off arguably the worst bullpen arms in the Dodgers pen.
Add in Chandler going Tuesday and Pittsburgh having played 3 games in 2 days — Ashcraft gets a long leash today. I’d be shocked if he’s pulled before 90 pitches.

WNBA NUKE BET ☢️
🏀 Nneka Ogwumike OVER 8.5 Rebounds
Nneka continues to be one of the league’s most reliable rebounders, and this matchup sets up well for another strong night on the glass.
• Cleared 9+ rebounds in 3 of her last 4 games, averaging 10.3 RPG during that stretch.
• Dallas has been a dream matchup for opposing rebounders, allowing the 2nd-most defensive rebounds and the 3rd-most total rebounds over their last 10 games.
• Against teams ranked bottom five in defensive rebounding, Nneka has gone OVER in 8 of 9 games this season while averaging 10.8 RPG.
• With Kelsey Plum out and Cameron Brink active versus teams ranked bottom nine in rebounds allowed, she’s a perfect 3-for-3 to this line, averaging 12.0 RPG.
• She also grabbed 10 rebounds in her first meeting with Dallas earlier this season.
Everything points toward another high-volume rebounding opportunity. Back Nneka to finish with 9+ boards. 🏀📈

MLB NUKE OF THE DAY ☢️
Yoshinobu Yamamoto OVER 17.5 Outs
If the juice is too steep, I’m pairing this with Nathan Eovaldi 4+ Ks as a dejuicer. Even at -160, I still make Yamamoto’s outs line too low.
Yamamoto has been one of the most reliable workhorse starters in baseball:
🔥 15/17 (88.2%) to record 18+ outs
📊 19.5 outs/game
🎯 97.5 pitches/game
He’s been even better lately.
✅ 6 straight starts of 6+ innings
📈 20.7 outs/game over that stretch
📈 99.3 pitches/game
On the road, he’s been automatic:
🚨 7-0 to 18+ outs
📊 20.3 outs/game
🎯 98.6 pitches/game
The Yankees have been a dream matchup for opposing right-handed starters over their last 20 games:
📉 3rd-worst OBP
📉 2nd-lowest walk rate
📉 6th-lowest batting average
📉 2nd-highest strikeout rate
The low walk rate is the biggest key. Fewer free baserunners mean lower pitch counts, allowing Yamamoto to stay efficient and pitch deep into games. Without Aaron Judge, this lineup simply hasn’t generated the same level of offensive pressure.
History supports it too.
✅ 19+ outs in 2 of 3 career starts vs. New York
✅ Cleared this number in both road starts against the Yankees
Recent right-handed starters have carved up this lineup:
One more angle I love: this is Game 1 of a doubleheader. Expect the Dodgers to lean on their ace to save the bullpen for later in the day.
Everything points toward another six-plus inning outing. Yamamoto has consistently earned a long leash, the matchup is ideal, and the workload has been elite all season.
🍽️ Prediction: 6.2–7.0 IP (20–21 Outs).

WNBA PLAY ☢️
🏀 Shakira Austin Over 8.5 Rebounds
• Cleared this line in 7 of her last 8 games (88%) against Bottom-5 rebounding matchups, posting 9, 10, 11, 13, 16, 10, and 11 boards. ✅
• With Kiki Iriafen active and playing 23+ minutes, Austin has gone Over in 73% of her games this season. 🔥
• Already dominated this matchup earlier in the season, grabbing 11 rebounds vs. Golden State.
• This is one of the best rebounding matchups in the league. 13 of the last 18 opposing centers have cleared their rebound line against Golden State. ✅
Everything lines up for another strong night on the glass from Austin. 💪🏀

⚾️ MLB Best Bet #1
Taj Bradley Over 5.5 Strikeouts
• Cleared 6+ strikeouts in 12 of 18 starts (67%) this season.
• Has hit this number in 7 of his last 10 and 5 of his last 6 starts.
The Cubs have quietly become a strong strikeout matchup against right-handed pitching. Over their last 15 games, they rank bottom 10 in contact rate against RHP, with 7 projected hitters carrying an 18%+ K rate and 6 above 20% versus righties.
Bradley has also had success against this lineup, recording 10 strikeouts in 27 career at-bats (37% K rate).
His improved splitter and curveball have been major weapons this season, and that’s important here because the Cubs own 30%+ whiff rates against both pitch types. Bradley’s overall whiff rate sits well above league average, making this a matchup that fits his strengths.
To top it off, Chicago just allowed Bailey Ober—who ranks in just the 16th percentile in strikeout rate—to punch out 7 batters. Bradley ranks in the 81st percentile in K% and simply has better swing-and-miss stuff.
With his 16.5 outs line juiced to the over, six strikeouts over roughly six innings is a very attainable path.
Play: Taj Bradley Over 5.5 Strikeouts.

⚾️MLB Best Bet #2
Logan Henderson Over 14.5 Outs
Miami has shown a willingness to let Henderson work deeper into games, and he’s rewarded them with efficiency. He’s cleared this line in 5 of his 6 starts this season, including five straight, and has now been stretched out to around 85 pitches, giving him a strong path to six innings if he continues to limit traffic.
At this number, I like Henderson to record 15+ outs again.

🏀WNBA Best Bet
Flau’Jae Johnson Under 1.5 Made Threes
• Cleared this under in 6 of her last 8 games with Malonga in the lineup and against defenses ranked top 8 in limiting opponent three-pointers to guards, averaging just 0.8 made threes per game over that span.
• This sets up as a difficult perimeter matchup against Indiana. Johnson does most of her damage attacking the rim and in transition rather than relying on volume from deep, which fits how the Fever defend.
• Indiana ranks 1st in opponent three-pointers made and 3rd in three-pointers allowed to guards. They’ve consistently held opposing backcourt scorers below their season averages from beyond the arc, including players such as Burton, Young, Gray, Loyd, and Wheeler.
• Johnson attempts the majority of her threes from above the break, an area where the Fever rank 1st in defensive efficiency. They’re far more vulnerable in the paint, making it likely Johnson attacks downhill instead of settling for perimeter jumpers.
• The expected pace should create plenty of transition opportunities, but as long as Johnson continues to prioritize getting to the basket over launching from deep, this matchup favors the under.

MLB Best Bet #1⚾️
Sandy Alcantara U18.5 Outs
This line feels a bit inflated. Alcantara has looked much sharper recently, but asking him to record 19 outs on the road against one of the hotter offenses in baseball is a tough ask.
✅ Under in 7 of his 10 road starts this season.
Even when he’s effective, reaching 19 outs usually requires an extremely efficient outing. Milwaukee is one of the tougher lineups to do that against. Over their last 20 games vs. RHP, the Brewers own:
• .269 AVG
• .336 xwOBA
• 119 wRC+
They consistently grind out at-bats and elevate pitch counts, making it difficult for opposing starters to work deep into games. A quality six-inning start can still cash this under.
The pitch matchup also leans our way. Milwaukee is hitting .321 with a .500 SLG against sinkers, while also posting solid numbers against cutters—Alcantara’s two primary pitches.
With a patient offense, favorable pitch-type splits, and a hitter-friendly environment at American Family Field, I like Alcantara to finish at 6 innings or fewer.
