They don’t REALLY want a man with emotional intelligence; they actually want a man who practices “EMOTIONAL ACCOMMODATION.”
What they really want is: I want to feel and express my emotions however I want, whenever I want, and you will take it, validate it, and comfort me… even if it destroys you in the process.
Emotional intelligence isn’t about catering to someone else’s every mood. It’s the ability to control your OWN emotions, think clearly under pressure, and respond like a rational adult. It’s about self-control, awareness, and taking responsibility for how your feelings affect others.

yourself around me, and put my emotions above everything else. But the moment a man stands up for his own feelings, sets
boundaries, or refuses to constantly carry their emotional load, he’s branded “insensitive” emotionally unitelligent or “emotionally immature.”
Let’s be honest: they don’t want intelligence…they want an emotional punching bag.
