I can’t believe that you’d talk to this G.I. Joe fan boy. I get it, Saint Slayer is a great game with exceptional animations, solid controls and surprising depth for a game of this nature. But his love for G.I. Joe is disconcerting to say the least. @scaasm you must do better.

@Johasu232 Most definitely. The Triforce, boxing gloves, Duck hunt duck, the Vampire Killer. I also noticed some items from a couple of the more obscure NES titles, mushroom, flute, vine and that helmet worn by some character that only Colin would recognize. 😬

@kidmmxv @longislandviper I’ve got around 10 hours into it now. you can blast through it fairly quickly ones you played the levels a few times. But there’s lots of secrets and some of the levels even have branching paths to explore.

@Bmontythe3rd @longislandviper I found stage 5 strange. It’s one of the most unforgiving stages. Almost every other stage in game became much easier with repetition, but 5 creates weird spawn traps that at times felt more frustrating than fun.

Another mechanic in Saint Slayer that you may find helpful. Holding the attack button after stabbing and pushing backwards at the right time will trigger a quick reversal that can be used to protect you briefly from incoming projectiles or enemies behind you. You will need to have the spear for this move.

Game Pass Ultimate has become too expensive for too many players. Starting today, we’re dropping the price from $29.99 to $22.99/month. Future Call of Duty titles will no longer join Game Pass Ultimate on day one. They will join this tier the following holiday after launch (about a year later).
