That’s why many Christians call this spiritual deception. ⸻ Temple Practices Only certain members can enter LDS temples, where they perform secret ceremonies, oaths, and rituals (including the baptism for the dead). These practices are not found in Scripture. •Why Christians see it as idolatry: Christ tore the temple veil when He died (Matthew 27:51), meaning all believers now have direct access to God. Rebuilding secret rituals or “new temples” goes against the finished work of Jesus.

@bennyjohnson Religion is under attack but this is not a Christian house of worship. One wouldn't say Christianity is under attack if it were a mosque, a Buddhist temple, or a Jewish synagogue. Still a tragedy and offense against liberty, but distinctions matter. Mormons are not Christians.
