Robins can get as close as they like but visitors must keep a respectful distance. The Conservation Herd are part of the Forest's living landscape and #EppingForest is their home. Please treat them with the same respect you would any animal you meet in the Forest.

@savebutterflies 🦋#Butterfly season never really ends. This week we're looking for Brown hairstreaks they've recently re-appeared in #EppingForest after a long absence. They fly high in the canopy so it's hard to detect the adults but the eggs can be seen on blackthorn branches in winter.
