I’m not worried about Carthon’s ability to select good players. He’s already shown us he can. Paired with Chad Brinker and their analytics based system, they will be fine. Carthon inherited a sinking ship and tons of dead cap his first year. He invested a 2nd rd pick (& 3rd rd pick to trade up) to take a flyer on a promising young QB. He didn’t pan out, and now he and a offensive minded HC will now have full reign to find their next guy. An underrated element to all of this is the possibility that the Titans could be looking at a situation where they add a veteran (Hendon Hooker? Darnold? Cousins?) instead of opting for another rookie. Who knows. Lots of options. Their draft position will be a major factor.
