@alias58 Nah I think that’s a little spot on in some regards.

@CoOperativesPod I tried it a few years back, but didnt like how unintuitive the gunplay felt. Also in general I don't like battle royales because it feels like you spend 20 minutes wanderi lng around for the game to start and then it's 20 seconds of gameplay. It's an oversimplification I know!

big question: do you play Fortnite? If so, what do you like about it? conversely, if you HAVEN'T played Fortnite, what is the blocker for you? FINAL QUESTION: do you call it Fartnite as an inside joke to your spouse?

@latin4dragula thats really good to know. i super appreciate you answering that follow-up!

@CoOperativesPod I find it does, I've played a bunch of BRs these last few years and Fortnite is the one I go back to most for that clarity. I like the mechanics of say Apex more, but I feel more aware/in control of my sensory input in Fortnite, which makes me feel more in control of my success.

@latin4dragula I love how the aesthetic assists in picking out those shapes. Do you find that the game does that better than other online shooty games? Adding fork-knife to notes.

@CoOperativesPod The bright, cartoony aesthetic of Fortnite makes it easier for me to pick out distinct shapes through my sensory issues, and I like how they cycle interesting mobility options. I've never called it Fartnite but I do usually tell my nesting that I'm gonna go do some fork-knife.
