Wow! These graduation numbers are amazing! @DuvalSchools announced a record-breaking graduation rate of 97.6% for traditional high schools and 94.3% districtwide, including charter schools. Congratulations to the Class of 2025, your future is so bright. Also, great job to Superintendent Bernier, all of the teachers, staff, and parents! 📸: DCPS

I enjoyed touring San Jose Elementary and Jean Ribault High in @DuvalSchools with Superintendent Bernier. I witnessed dedicated teachers committed to academics and students actively engaged in learning.

With a new school year about to begin in Jacksonville, I was thrilled celebrate our teachers at the @DuvalSchools Back To School Bash today. When kids return to the classroom, they will return to an A-rated school district this year and that is because of our amazing teachers. You achieved it with passion, perseverance, and belief in every single student you teach. So as you begin a new school year, I hope you carry that “A” with pride - Not just the grade, but what it represents. Let’s go out and have the best school year ever and continue to lift up our kids, our communities, and our city together.

Today, I take the stage in Jacksonville, Florida, to speak to 9,000 educators and leaders… And when I step off that stage, I’ll be closing one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. For the first time in 25 years, my speaking calendar is empty. On purpose. No flights booked. No conferences scheduled. No keynotes lined up. Not because the invitations stopped coming—but because I’ve chosen to pause. To rest. To reflect. To listen for what’s next. 25 years ago, I was a recent UC Berkeley graduate. I didn’t have a platform. I didn’t have a strategy. But I did have a calling—to bring hope to hurting students, encouragement to exhausted teachers, and inspiration to those fighting for change in their communities. And I said yes. Since then, I’ve spoken to millions—across 49 states, several countries, and 6 continents. I’ve poured out everything I had, every single time. But here’s the truth: I didn’t do it alone. My wife retired from her career so we could build this mission together. She ran our business and homeschooled our kids so they could travel the world with me. We chose this life—together—so we could serve others without sacrificing each other. We’ve done this as a family… and I will forever be grateful for that. Now, for the first time in 25 years, the calendar is clear. Not because I’m done forever—but because this season is shifting. I’m still carrying the message. But the mic… is down. I’m not disappearing. I’m just slowing down—on purpose. I’m creating space to enjoy my family, to think, to rest, to listen, and to write. There are parts of my journey I’ve never shared publicly—stories and lessons from the road, from my childhood, from my life as a husband, father, student, and servant. I’m working on several writing projects now, and when the time is right, I’ll share more. But for now, I’m just deeply grateful. To God, who has carried me from the streets of Long Beach to stages around the world. To my wife and children, who made this journey with me. To my team, who helped lift this message higher than I ever could alone. And to every student, teacher, and leader who let me speak into your life—thank you. I’ve given this work my heart. And I’ll keep giving—but in a different way, and in a different rhythm. With love and gratitude, Dr. Manny Scott #TheFinalKeynote #EvenOnYourWorstDay #GratefulHeart #RestWithPurpose #LegacyOfHope #MannyScott
