Today was the 100th day of school! Our students completed missions to solve the case of the missing zeros! It never gets old watching the excitement on their faces. We can’t believe there are only 80 days left in the school year…time is flying! @collierschools @Champs4Learning

We love writing in our classroom! Students created their own sock snowmen and then practiced their descriptive and creative writing by telling all about it. Hands-on learning paired with storytelling made for a fun and engaging lesson! @collierschools

What a great way to kick off the month of December! Our students had so much fun as they turned into little bakers—baking cookies, learning the steps, writing about the process, making a craft, and then enjoying the sweet results. @collierschools @Champs4Learning

Learning about The First Thanksgiving! The Pilgrims sailed across the ocean on the Mayflower and landed at Plymouth Rock, where they met the Wampanoag’s. We talked about how they worked together, shared what they knew, and celebrated the harvest with a feast. @collierschools

In our classroom, learning isn’t just sitting and listening, it’s hands-on, full of curiosity, and always filled with smiles! We practiced expository writing and adding adjectives… by dressing up some students as scarecrows! Then using @ThinkingMaps for writing! @collierschools

A huge thank you to @Champs4Learning ! Thanks to your generous grant, our students have been able to start gardening! They’re learning firsthand about plant growth, teamwork, and responsibility all while having fun getting their hands dirty. @collierschools

Today our class took time to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. We talked about the importance of Veterans Day and how their courage and sacrifice protect our freedoms! @collierschools
