@mattjohnson1973 Is this allowed ? Can referees even do this? In my opinion, coaches and clubs need to enter their teams in the right competition. How do you expect to compete in the NBL if your players cannot score a single basket... CVL might be the best option.

@CoachAWallace7 Referees have the responsibility of the game and are trained and paid for that. As custodians of the game at what point should the referees and coaches have said let’s pause the game and play friendly mixed game? Or have training fun together for 20 mins? Or…. 50-0 60-0 70-0 ?

1/2 100%! Again, everyone is so quick to blame BE for something that is out of their control. 1) they have re-introduced Prem/Conf leagues for U14 girls this season for better competition. 2) they have put rules in place to avoid full court press when up by 20 in Conf

@ScanlonMiss This has promoted loads of discussion amongst a group of us up here. I can’t see anyone who has benefited from this. There would have been so many adults at that game in a variety of roles. Why didn’t anyone try and influence a better experience for ALL girls involved? Kate.x

2/2 The rumours are that the coach (who apparently is a national team coach) kept pressing and that the referee allowed it to happen. If true, someone needs to look into that. Not directly to blame BE...

Very questionable benching Athena 10min in the first half of the U16 girls Cup finals. Even if she was on two fouls... Your entire offense is built on her so you take that risk. You won the second half with Athena on the court but the game was already over at HT.

So very proud of my U16 girls! Played against the undefeated champs with 5 players who attended the U16 GB combine camp last week to our one. We nearly did the impossible & eventually lost in the remaining minute by four points. Put some respect in our name! 🦁 @LionsBball19
