Yup! Most laughed when I said we should’ve traded him to the Mets last year at deadline . Mets hated Pete Alonso and let him walk -that would have been a trade that benefited both sides. God forbid the Tigers front office gets aggressive and goes and gets a good/consistent bat. Just goes to show you Scott Harris cares more about stocking the farm system than winning at the Major league level.

The Detroit Tigers are back tonight….which unfortunately means they can lose again. Tigers enters tonight just 3-16 over their last 19 games and 2-14 over their last 16. This team has completely fallen apart offensively. Recent offensive “highlights”: ⚾️ Scored 0 runs vs Boston ⚾️Scored 1 run vs Kansas City ⚾️ Batting .184 over last 5 games ⚾️Near bottom of MLB offensively ⚾️Strikeout-heavy lineup with constant RISP failures Nightmare fuel :The pitching honestly hasn’t even been the biggest issue lately. Tigers pitching has kept them in games, but the offense keeps wasting starts and putting nonstop pressure on the pen. The 2 consistent bats thus far: • Dillon Dingler ..quietly one of the few productive hitters • Riley Greene ..still the most dangerous bat in the lineup Meanwhile the offense overall continues to: ❌strand runners ❌chase pitches ❌disappear for 4-5 innings at a time ❌FAILS in clutch situations Tonight’s matchup vs the Angels feels like another “prove you’re not dead” game. If the Tigs comes out flat offensively again tonight, the Scott Harris/AJ Hinch noise is only going to get louder and uglier on in the 313 and Tigers Twitter👀.
