Grayson Scragg @GraysonScragg turned homecoming night at DCA into something that will be talked about for a long time. For three quarters, this one was a grind. Nashville Christian kept it tight, trading punches and refusing to let the game get away. Then the fourth quarter arrived, and the senior flipped the switch. Grayson took control, scoring 11 points in the final frame, including 2 threes that finally broke the game open and shifted everything in DCA’s favor. What had been a tense battle suddenly swung hard as the momentum changed and never came back. He finished the night with 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists, raining in 5 threes. The energy was sky-high from the opening tip and never dipped when it mattered most. Defensively, he was fierce, applying pressure, staying locked in, and setting the tone with nonstop effort. Every possession mattered, and Grayson made sure his presence was felt on both ends. Before the game on homecoming night, Grayson received his 1000-point ball. That milestone set the tone for what followed and reflected the work behind it. Countless hours, bounce-back nights, and belief all collided into one unforgettable evening. This was not just a big game. It was a reward for years of commitment and staying ready for the moment. DCA closed it out with a 61-39 win, but the score only tells part of the story. This was a senior delivering when his team needed it most, playing with confidence, fire, and purpose. A milestone night. A statement performance. A memory that will live far beyond the final horn.
