The @NCAA Board of Governors on Thursday approved $1.7 million in funding — $200,000 in FY 025 and $1.5 million in FY 2026 — for establishing a National Collegiate women's wrestling championship, with the first expected in the 2025-26 academic year.

An unfortunate part of the business. I got hired in February by an AD who believed in me and my plan. That guy leaves, new AD comes in and has the right to bring in “his own guy.” Usually it just doesn’t happen in 37 weeks, and not after the new coach moves there with his kids.
