@coachzilly @EricBen24 @NovanFootball @whsnovanews And as far as 2020 summer went, Woonsocket was the only school district not to allow summer workouts. We stand by our decision.

@coachzilly @EricBen24 @NovanFootball @whsnovanews Had nothing to do with the decision, as football would have its own time period regardless. We feel it’s in the best interest of our players, those young men included, to not play football right now.

Woonsocket’s decision to opt out of football has been brewing for a while. The response Charlie Bibeault got from his seniors made him know he and the Woonsocket school district affirmed it was the right choice. providencejournal.com/story/sports/h…
