@PeteThamel I’m having flashbacks to when my William & Mary team had our pre-game shoot-around on one end of the Camels court, while a Campbell PE class was using the hoop at the other end.

A new twist to this era in college sports. Campbell coach John Andrzejek resigns after one year and says "there are no pathways that the institution will support to fund the program appropriately moving forward."

@UHCoogTV @collegeinsider When I coached at BC, we knocked off #1 UNC in the 1994 round of 32. I always ask people who coached the Washington St. team we beat in the 1st round? None ever gets it. Kelvin’s been doing this a long time - he’s a legend.

Kelvin Sampson on having his family around: “I'm old. It's a young man's game, I’ll be out soon enough. Being able work with my kids and have grandkids around, it been the best thing about the job. It's not all the winning. You know, when you win a lot, you win a lot. I appreciate that, but I understand how hard it is to do.” “Having Kellen has been a Godsend, because he's so good at it. Some days I just get tired of hollering at Cenac to get in the stance. I just say ‘You take him, and I'll go.’ I’ll say, ‘Let's see, what time does Maisy and Kylen get home from school today?’ Yeah, so I'll go play the afternoon with them and let Kellen handle Cenac and Flemings and Harwell and Chase, all those freshmen.” “But everybody needs to do that occasionally, have four freshmen on their team and run the gauntlet of the Big 12 with them. Everybody should have to do that at least once. I did it once. I don't plan on doing it again, but I did it once.”

@ZachDimmitt7 By rule, any bench personnel (player, asst, mgr) that comes onto the floor must actually “interfere with play”. Here, & in Dayton/SLU game, refs blew whistle to check clock prior to ball being taken OOB & entered into play.

Sean Miller absolutely lost his mind on Texas assistant coach Ryan Anderson for running on the court after Tramon Mark’s game-winning shot. Credit to the officials for not letting that ruin a great ending, but probably could have been a technical foul.

@DickieV @espn @PaulBiancardi @DiggerPhelps Good match for us. Howard, Gerrod (21pts on 6/11 3ptrs) & Malcolm spread the floor & made 12 3ptrs. Billy & Danya outplayed Rasheed Wallace/Eric Montross. Billy scored 10 of our last 11.

It’s hard to put into words this moment. A sell-out Schott the loudest I’ve ever heard it. All 18,000 just saw history with one pull up three.

Houston exposing Tennessee’s lack of guard play overall & have eliminated Zeigler as a creator. Vols have no answers.

@Sam_Vecenie Cox & Smith must complete the switch before the ball is inbounded. Purdue has done this successfully at times this season - but not here.

Have seen people blame Smith for moving off inbounder, but that's the entire conceit of what makes the ATO design brilliant! If Smith doesn't take flare, TKR has to or it's wide open. If TKR takes it, Smith has to step up or Tugler has an open dunk.

Kelvin Sampson ran a genius ATO taking advantage of how Purdue has defended BLOBs all season You will see Purdue occasionally miscommunicate the coverage, but I haven't seen a coach fully take advantage of it like Sampson did here:

@Coach_DeMarco #0 Jefferson shouldn’t be hugging his man way out on the weakside. Gotta stop in the paint & stop the rolling big. He can recover out to his shooter on the x-court skip pass. “Creating an advantage” or defensive error?
