The ball hit the plate and stopped about six feet in from of home, and he didn't run it out, I pointed fair, he said but it hit the plate 🤦🏽‍♂️. Fundamental, fundamentals🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

Let’s squash another myth: Have heard quite a few young players over the years say this so that means others believe it so I’m sure there are some adults out there who believe this too. “The ball hit home plate!! It’s foul!” There’s a myth out there that if the batter hits the ball straight down and it bounces off home plate it’s an automatic dead ball (foul ball). Had a kid tell me “It’s even a new MLB rule!” 🤦‍♂️ Home plate is completely in fair territory. In fact, if you didn’t know, the foul lines start at the point of it. 😂 Be careful out there youngsters!! Myths start when you believe everything your friends say!!

@rookiedavis_ There already is a :20 pitch clock rule in NFHS and has been for years.

Can we please implement a pitch clock for HS baseball games. Arms need to get in a rhythm. Pace of play needs to pick up. Guys that play at the next level have to have such a quick adjustment to the clock… Bring it to HS baseball.
