It was a great match, all the way to the end! We always hate to see it end, especially after 100 grueling minutes. This group, this family, was a special one. They grew up with me in more ways than one! Proud to have coached them, prouder of the great young men they’re becoming!

A lot of good play from a lot of different people playing quality minutes in multiple positions! Today was all about finding that rhythm again. Ball movement and possession was good, shots were great! Looking to carry momentum of this performance in to Play-Offs!

V - 2 @ Waco - 3 2026 V Record: 10-7-1 Came back kicking after a 2 week break! Shook some rust off in a much-needed way and hung with a quality opponent. Touch and speed of the game came back to us as the 80 wore on. Saw great things in preparation for Bi-District on Thursday!

Loved watching this young man grow over the course of this year! His ball touch and awareness on the pitch grew rapidly. Eager to watch him continue to grow as a leader on the pitch and gridiron!! Love a dual-sport athlete.

LOT of adversity to battle through with this match! Injuries, illnesses, new faces/positions. But it didn’t stop these boys from giving a max effort! “As long as you #PlayLikeYouLoveIt for the full 80, that’s all I can ask of you!” Time for much needed rest and relaxation!

V - 2 @ Stephenville - 5 2026 V Record: 10-6-1 (4-4) The scoreboard may not show it, but these boys gave it their all for the full 80. We knew what type of match we were in for, and we played them well! They were just able to capitalize on our mental lapses with quality.

Vast majority of these boys are Freshmen, so we knew this season would be full of lessons! However, these boys enjoy the camaraderie of their group and the game of Soccer, which has me eager to see how they grow in the Off-Season!

JV - 0 @ Stephenville - 1 2026 JV Record: 8-8-2 (3-2-1) After a loss ends the season, we don’t want that to take away from how well these boys have improved! They’re young, they want it, and they’ll continue to improve! We are eager for the future with this group.

At Halftime, I knew we were going to be fine from the looks on this team’s face. They knew we had it! THEY WANTED IT!! Everyone on this team, especially the C/O 26, continued to #PlayLikeYouLoveIt and we made progress toward the goal of the night #LittleByLittle

Great performance from the boys with plenty of beautiful plays and runs made! We took care of possession and took more than a fair share of shots. Great match to get back on the winning track with!

Good win by these boys! Growth is happening, and the maturity will follow as the years go with this young group, but I’m always excited for the future when we can get results like this. No time for complacency though, one more big test looms a week from today!

We played the 80 minutes well enough to earn a crucial point in District, and I'm proud of the boys for that! I think that Brownwood's play knocked us off our possession a bit, but, when we did find our ball, we created quality chances.

V - 1 (3) @ Brownwood - 1 (4) 2026 V Record: 8-5-1 (2-3) After 80 minutes of a grueling, physical match, we had to go to PK’s to decide a winner. Each team converted their first 3, but our 4th was blocked, and 5th was missed to allow Brownwood to convert 1 more for the win.

JV - 2 vs. Stephenville - 1 2026 JV Record: 6-6-2 (2-0-1) The JV started the action off with a great 2-1 victory. We got the lead early on a good long ball, and then we traded PK’s to hang on for the W. Great play from the boys this afternoon with improved communication!

The quality & physicality of play from both sides was great to watch! Fun match of momentum swings to be a part of. The big chances we found at our feet just missed the mark, where they converted the big chances we left out for them. Good thing about District? We get them again!
