Friend of mine called one day and said I’m with someone that wants to ask you a question . Guy got on the phone and asked , Are you the one who taught Joe Burrow to play tough like I played baseball ? It was Pete Rose . Said he loved watching Joe . Wow ! RIP Hit King .

This was why his players loved him . Pure joy for his players and team .

We lost a great man today . Coach Kiffin was my DC at Nebraska when I played and then my mentor for really my entire coaching career . I always wanted to be like him . But there’s only one Coach Kiffin . A football genius and truly a great human being . Love you Coach .
