In the outfield if you open up to one side of a hard hit ball & the ball is on the opposite side just rotate your head to the ball verses trying to turn your entire body back to the ball. Taking your eyes off the ball briefly & having body control is more efficient than watching the ball all the way & not be in control of your movements.

When people say playing the outfield is easy just show them this play. Only a small % of players are making this play. This should be the standard for all outfielders. You’ll always have a spot on a roster if you can bring this type of defensive value. #graveyardmentality
