Parents: If your child can't find 30 mins outside team practice to work on their game daily, then they're just interested in success and they're not really committed. Which is OK. Just help them find the thing/sport they are interested in and will commit too.

Per sources, Wynne has inexplicably decided not to renew legendary head football coach Clay Totty – the second winningest active coach in state history. This aside, Superintendant Kenneth Moore and the Wynne School Board could screw up a two-car parade. Here's part of the track record since 2022: • Led a witch-hunt against the state's winningest active coach Van Paschal (266 wins) – I would know, I covered every minute of it and it was a complete joke that was fueled by ego. • Reportedly decided to not renew Totty – the second-winningest active coach in state history (257 wins) – at tonight's school board meeting. This would be a fireable offense if you're playing by my rules. Not only is Clay Totty a proven winner for nearly 3 decades, I guess Moore and his minions forgot about March of 2023 following the tragic tornadoes. After a quarter of a century and 2 state titles at Rison, Totty took the Wynne job and played a part in helping families rebuild their lives while competing in Class 5A with a 3A roster in terms of numbers. Took them to the playoffs in 2 of his 3 years there. Some of his team's practices were also confined to a 30-yard field that they had to share with the band. Folks, including me, truly don't understand how hard times were in Wynne just a few years ago unless you lived it. But yet he stuck it out and decided to stay around to try and revive the program. If I am a football coach in this state, that is a job I am not even thinking about considering.
