@coachslick64 Agree! Technique an Offensive Lineman does to stop a pass rush is very similar to how a DB will guard a WR’s release at the line of scrimmage. The angles of departure in relationship to your leverage. I’ve learned so much throughout the years from great OL Coaches.

Does anyone else ever think about how similar Cornerback and Offensive Line play is in the passing game? -Have to play football going backwards -Want to stay square as long as possible -Hand strike/punch is very important -The risk/reward of jump setting/jamming off the LOS -Ability to recover is a necessity -Very similar footwork techniques -Both play in a “die slow” position
