@I_Coach_Speed What was the first worst experience Coach?🤔

The second worst experience I’ve had in track. My freshman year, I made it to regionals and had the 2nd fastest time behind Marlin Cannon of SOC in the 400 heading into the finals. The sprints coach pulled me from the finals telling me he wanted me fresh for the 4x4, that I was a freshman and would have more opportunities, and we had two seniors he was trying to get to state. Our 4x4 didn’t make it. Our relationship was never the same.

UPDATE: unfortunately, I didn’t get an interview. Even with this résumé, I guess not having “HC” experience makes a big difference. I understand there’s others who are very good at their craft and have had or have that position now, but how can anyone get experience w/o a chance!

I’ve been using the Highland Park track since about 2018 and lots of private coaches or clubs I know use it; yet, this older man I’ve never seen before had to nerve to ask me if the city allowed me to come onto the track and put cones down. 🤦🏽‍♂️ Sir, it’s a track for training 💀 😂
