I have a very solid piece of recruiting advice to every young man out there going through the process. If you’ve been on campus at a school and a staff has been active in recruiting you, if you decide to go somewhere else, PICK UP THE PHONE and own your decision. Coaches may be disappointed but I PROMISE the respect for you going about the decision the right way will be there. And if a coach clowns you or talk trash to you while you’re doing the right thing, you dodged a bullet on choosing to go there anyway.
I want guys to go where they and their families feel is best. But I also don’t want to find out through a public social media post a guy chose another school who we poured time and energy into.
