@reggiered42 @Matt_Stepp817 It's called stipends and extra days. Assistant coaches get district salary scale (based on years)+sport(s) stipend(s)+extra duty days. Coaching 32 and teaching HS 23 years, I've never seen a teacher-only put in 7 days and 100+ hours in a week.

This just me talking, not a fan of NIL for HS kids at all...BUT if HS kids can get NIL money, I'd like to see it held in an interest drawing trust fund until the student athlete graduates from HS #txhsfb

Well, today completes 31 yrs in football, still have the passion of that snot-nosed Video Dir/Student Asst at SIU in '94. Got things ready to move n2 new field house. We're blessed at C.E.King to have elite facilities. A week off, then non-stop until hopefully Dec. 19. LFG!!
