Ben McCollum was such an incredibly obvious can't-miss coaching prospect out of Northwest Missouri State. Would've given him anything he wanted if I were running a basketball program that hadn't made an NCAA Tournament since, idk, 1999.

Moving forward in the portal/NIL world, think we will see D2’s get better players out of HS than ever before. Just won’t have them for 3-4 years. The ones that market it like Juco will continue to get those guys & have a high talent level. Those that don’t? Will be a struggle.
