President John F. Kennedy believed that one day this country would live up to its promise of justice and equal rights for all. For those beliefs and for his sacrifice, Congress voted to make The Kennedy Center a living memorial to him, as a place built by the people for the people to celebrate what connects us.
While this trespass on the People’s will is painful, President Kennedy would remind us that it is not buildings that define the greatness of a nation. It is the actions of its people and its leaders.
So, do not be distracted from what this Administration is actually trying to erase: our connection, our community, and our commitment to the rights of all.

Two HS wrestling stats that should get every Highschool coach’s attention:
• 29% of dual matches are forfeits
• Avg HS team hosts just 3 home duals/year
That’s why scholastic coaching academies matter—recruiting, retention, and stronger programs start with better-supported and better mentored coaches.
The NWCA is paying for it. Show up and help. Show up and learn.
Make wrestling better.

@coachkou It's not throwing that is the issue
It is fundamental change that have taken place in CFB
BEFORE to make it BIG BIG $$$) u had 2 go to the NFL therefore MANY coaches ran PRO systems in order 2 pad their Resumes
NOW u can make VERY good $ in CFB-just WIN & dev has suffered

@CoachCulloty @Jbooty88 Here's my solution. If 88% of the writers vote yes, and you're in the minority, you lose your vote for 5 years. #HallOfFame #nflhalloffame #belichick
English

It’s absolutely criminal and a total tragedy that Bill Belichick is not a 1st ballot hall of famer. Very simply, ask 100 people who the greatest nfl coach of all time is? Bill Belichick is the answer.
Worst of all, he is a true fan of the game. A historian. He studied and had great respect for the coaches that came before him. For the legendary players of the game. So much so, that he made his staff and his players study and learn the history.
I hope I’m wrong, but I fear this is something that could turn arguably the greatest coach of all time away from the league and the game that he helped shape for the past few decades.
English

@CoachCulloty @Jbooty88 Belichick was an immense prick. Still is. One of the 5 greatest HCs of all time. No discussion.
Ted Williams was also an immense prick. He received 94% and went in on 1st ballot.
These asshole writers who want to punish people who were hard to write about? Ban their asses.

@ChaelSonnen What must the wrestling community do to get more programs at the D1 and D2 levels for our athletes?

The Wolves are in action, today, at home. We take on Bloomfield Hills on SENIOR DAY! We will honor the commitment of our ten seniors before the varsity dual. JV kicks off at 5:30. See you there!

@SportsToucan Really
Why can't wrestling find a few billionaires to start donating 10 million a school for men's and women's teams
The rest would be used to fund the sport moving forward and limited to no cost to the schools

To those clamoring for #NFL conference championship games to be played indoors at neutral sites, I can only offer the narration of the great John Facenda.
If we lose the elements, we lose some of the great storylines and history.

The Great Coaching Purge of 2025
Who Controls Who?
The NIL Circus & The Era of
"Natty or Bust".
The Great Coaching Purge of 2025
It was a wild college football season.
NIL wreaking havoc. Total unpredictability on & off the field. And the NCAA still nowhere to be found.
It's truly the "Wild West" of college football.
And this year the head coaches bore the brunt of it. We're going over the most coaches fired in one season, and possibly WHY?
Head Coaches Fired During the 2025 FBS Season
Brent Pry – Virginia Tech
Overall Record: 16–24
Fired After: 0–3 start in 2025
DeShaun Foster – UCLA
Overall Record: 5–10
Fired After: 0–3 start in 2025
Mike Gundy – Oklahoma State
Overall Record: 170–90 over 21 seasons
Fired After: Early-season struggles in 2025 (mid-season firing)
Sam Pittman – Arkansas
Overall Record at Firing: Approx. 22–28 over six seasons
Fired After: 2–3 start to 2025 season
Trent Bray – Oregon State
Overall Record at Firing: 5–14
Fired After: 0–7 start in 2025
James Franklin – Penn State
Overall Record at Firing: 104–45 over 12 seasons
Fired After: 3–3 start in 2025
Trent Dilfer – UAB
Overall Record at Firing: 9–21 over three seasons
Fired After: 2–4 start in 2025
Billy Napier – Florida
Overall Record at Firing: 22–23 over four seasons
Fired After: 3–4 start in 2025
Jay Norvell – Colorado State
Overall Record at Firing: 18–26 over four seasons
Fired After: 2–5 start in 2025
Brian Kelly – LSU
Overall Record at Firing: 34–14 at LSU
Fired After: Roughly midway through 2025 season
At least 10 Division 1 FBS head coaches were fired during the 2025 college football season, the most in one season in over 40 years.
The question is, why now?
What changed?
Money. "Natty Or Bust" Mentality.
There's more money than ever in college football.
It's infected every aspect of the game.
And there is very little patience for losses in a business this big. Smaller schools do not have the deep pockets of the larger programs, so a few losses affect them much more. Every dollar & loss counts.
But with firings comes turnover. A reset. Back to square one. Everyone wants to win, and win quickly. History has shown that it takes on average three years for a new system to be fully installed, especially if the new coach is recruiting his players to fit his system. The average tenure of the 10 coaches fired was six years. But, that's inflated by James Franklin (12) & Mike Gundy (21). Take those two away, your average is 3-4 seasons.
Athletic departments aren't waiting: if you aren't hitting your stride by year three or showing consistent improvement, you are cooked.
(unless your Matt Rhule 🤯)
Recently I've spoken about quarterbacks needing to stay in college longer so they are more prepared for the NFL. On the flip side, it's tough to ask players to stay a full four years when the coaches themselves may not make it.
Not every team is going to be successful as they would like. They look around and want to be Oregon, Ohio State, or Georgia. It's not going to happen. Sometimes we have to accept our place and do the best we can.
Constant firings & turnover chasing something that's most likely not realistic is not sustainable.
If it's about a trophy & money, you'll never be satisfied.
